Haha. Last Saturday was a good day to still have snow tires. This Saturday might be crappy again too though.

The meteo-types are calling for snow and nastiness for the front range through Sunday now, unfortunately. Let’s hope it clears quickly. The warm and dry February got everyone’s motoring hopes up, making the March snow extra frustrating, even if it is pretty typical.

^ This. I don’t mind winter, snow, ice, and cold. I don’t mind that in CO it hangs around until April sometimes. It is a giant PITA, though, when it unpredictably goes from winter to spring to summer to winter and back again in one week for a month or two straight. It makes it very difficult to plan much, even something as simple as the winter/summer tire swap. Oh well, we’re enjoying the snow day at home. Watched a movie, did a round of shoveling while the power was out, ate snow cones (bowl of snow with KoolAid mix and sugar sprinkled on it), take care of a few chores, etc. Maybe I’ll mix a beverage and write some code tonight. Good to have a low key day once in awhile, no?
